Figure 2: Experimental results of the neurobehavioral tests battery performed. This includes grip strength test, rotarod test, cylinder test, VEFP test, 28-point neurobehavioral test, and Morris water maze test. For the VEFP test, the placements of the left and right paws were represented separately. For the MWM test, the two outcome parameters namely the cumulative distance traveled, and the latency time taken to reach the platform were represented separately. Boxplot was used for grip strength test, rotarod test, VEFP test, 28-point neurobehavioral test, and Morris water maze test. For all these tests, the comparison between the interventions was performed using the Kruskal–Wallis test with the post-hoc test by Dunn's test. Bar plot was used for cylinder test. For cylinder test, the comparison between the interventions was performed by univariate analysis using a generalized linear model with baseline values as covariate followed by least significant difference as the post-hoc was performed. P < 0.05 was taken as statistical significance. Note: In the figure, the non-significant differences in the post-hoc analysis were not marked for clarity purposes. All non-marked post-hoc comparisons are to be taken as non-significant. Symbols: ns stands for non-significant, * P < 0.05, ** P < 0.01, and *** P < 0.001. Abbreviation: EO1W - End of 1st week; EO2W- End of 2nd week; EO3W - End of 3rd week; MWM – Morris water maze test; VEFP - Vibrissae evoked forelimb placement test; STP - N-salicyloyltryptamine
